The Friends of
Carroll Baker Society
A Non-profit Organization
The Friends of Carroll Baker Society is a non-profit organization that was established in 2019 and operates out of Port Medway, Nova Scotia, the home of Carroll Baker. Our mandate is to promote and celebrate Carroll's amazing career by operating and maintaining The Carroll Baker Mem'ries Centre housing memorabilia from Carroll's career.
Through a joint agreement between the Carroll Baker Mem'ries Centre and The Friends of Carroll Baker Society, the Society will be housed within the walls of the Carroll Baker Mem'ries Centre. The Society will coordinate activities within the building ensuring that the dignity of the Church's original purpose be maintained (the former Port Medway Baptist Church) and that its spiritual message continue by ensuring its accessibility for religious services (weddings/funerals).
The financial sustainability of the building becomes the responsibility of the Friends of Carroll Baker Society. Hoping that corporate sponsorship and government funding may help offset start up costs (bringing the structure up to code) the Society feels that the yearly operating costs can be sustained by admission fees to the Memorabilia Centre, some creative fundraising and hopefully some great music concerts within the building.

The Friends of Carroll Baker Society appreciate the efforts of J F Brown in the beginning stages of this project. We are moving forward without him and wish him the best in his future endeavours.
